FASHIONA New Year, A New You by Kristian Phillips
There is never a better time than the spring to take a look at yourself and re-evaluate who you are and where you are going.
Forget New Year’s resolutions which can be such a temporary solution. This is all about making a change and sticking to it. Whether it is changing your image, reinventing your personality, going on a new adventure or just losing something that is holding you back now is the time to make that change.
When looking at yourself and making changes to your lifestyle one of the best places to start is with your wardrobe. Looking through your wardrobe and working out what works and what doesn’t also helps you to look at your life.
Divide your wardrobe into sections to decide if you have enough of the right clothes for your lifestyle.
Unfortunately we all need to have practical work clothes and so one section of your wardrobe should be taken up with these. You need at least one pair of work shoes (unless you work in a job where you can dress down) and a skirt or trouser suit is always useful. It can double up for smart occasions as well as being a practical solution for work.
Then think about the time when you are not working – are you always out on the town? Do you spend lots of time in the garden? Are you always off on hikes across the countryside? Do you spend time in galleries? Or do you have a hobby that takes up much of your time?
For instance if you are an outdoor type person you need to have lots of practical clothes and fewer dressy jackets and skirts. Yes, there are always occasions that you have to dress up for but having one smart outfit is probably enough if these are reasonably spread throughout the year. Afterall you can always use accessories to change the look of the outfit. Concentrate instead on having clothes that are loose and easy to wear – they will allow you to be active without feeling restricted.
On the other hand of you are more of a town person you should stick to a smarter image. There are lots of clothes available that are smart without being too dressy to wear in the day – check out the ranges of trousers and shirts currently around. Also a great way of making an outfit more adaptable is to have accessories that change the look of it – look at bags and scarves and also cardigans, boleros and wraps to accentuate different colours according to the occasions.

BEAUTYCaring For Your Hair by Louise Forrest
One of the most visible parts of your body is your hair. Many people experience hair problems due to various stresses while others are purely genetic. Most of the hair problems are dandruff, dryness and baldness. You can start treating your hair with lemon extract. You also have to be careful because it can dry up your hair. Honey- Some people have avoided frizzy hair with the use of honey. Directly apply it to your hair (the amount depends on the length).
Just as anything else, there are preventative measures for keeping hair from becoming damaged and staying at its healthiest, and then there is the repair side of hair care maintenance. It does not matter whether your hair is long or short, blond to black or any coloration in between, a beautiful head on hair can be a luxurious asset. We are all slightly different in our tones, textures and types of hair. The textures of hair can be of coarseness to soft, limp or fine. When there are problems with your hair, often it may be related to the basic hair care of using the wrong shampoos and conditioners.
Overall best hair results of vibrancy and brilliance are attributed to a good healthy diet, but there is also the hands-on care of hair treatment actions that are taken every time you wash, condition, brush, dry or style your hair. For people with very straight hair, there are some options. Shampoos and conditioners exist that are designed to help these people have more body in their hair. There are other people with straight hair, though, who have plenty of hair - it just does not want to do anything but hang there. Frizzy hair is also a problem. One of the most common causes of frizzy hair is split ends.
If the hair is very long and the frizz problem has gone on for a long time, cutting the hair short may be the only alternative. If you lack vitamin C, you can lose your hair excessively, so just follow do it yourself hair care tips. With Vitamin C Hair Care, it helps to combat hair loss problems. If you are using other products, you should consider switching to Vitamin C Hair Care. It not only prevent free radical oxidizing your hair, but is also solution to hair loss problem.
Do it yourself hair care tips with Vitamin C Hair Care, not only help combating hair loss, but also helps retain the hair natural color, so prevent premature graying of your hair. By following the do it yourself hair care tips will not turn you into a superstar with healthy hair, but it takes ongoing maintenance of healthy living.
Proper caring for your hair starts with proper shampooing of your hair, as suggested here, the one which contain vitamin C and natural ingredients, not those which contain chemical that may cause harm to your hair and scalp. You therefore can optimize the benefits to using Vitamin C Hair Care for your hair.
There is some truth there, when you brush your hair, it improves your scalp and hair because brushing spreads oil evenly from the scalp throughout your hair and improves your scalp's blood circulation. Furthermore, if you don't want to damage your hair further, do not use hair dryer, if you must, reduce the frequency.

HEALTHAnti-Depressants - Another Reason for a Droopy Face by Cynthia Rowland
Ever sit in amazement while you listen to the list of contraindications and the looming significant complications that exist when you watch an advertisement touting the latest and greatest prescription drug? Do you ask yourself, "Who would take this drug knowing how harmful the side effects might be?"
Whether you see or hear information regarding the newest birth control method, high blood pressure medication or even a sexual enhancement drug, there are warnings galore that are muted by photos and scenes of happy couples, joyful women swimming and smiling bicyclers trekking through the woods. After all, having an erection that lasts more than four hours is quite ear catching and daunting.
Under the guise of serenity and happiness the warnings are clear: if you choose to use prescription drugs, be prepared for the side effects that will inevitably arise.
Sit up and take heed if you want to maintain your youthful face because recent information published in the web version of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery suggests that continued relaxation of the facial muscles due to anti-depressant use could cause sagging in the face.
If you are one of the 190 million people in the USA who use anti-depressants you may not be aware that the prescription you are taking is most likely making you look older.
Just as anti-depressants relax the shoulders, back and body muscles, the face muscles, when relaxed for an extended period of time will elongate. This relaxation and elongation is evident when you see soft, droopy facial skin with folds, wrinkles and less than glowing facial vitality.
The look of old affects everyone even if you are not using prescription antidepressants; muscles elongate due to disuse. We witness this in our thighs, waist, tummy and hips; our arms become less tight and shapely. Droopy cheeks, hooded, lined eyes plus jowls and pouches, all in evidence by the time we hit sixty, are a result of sagging facial muscles that drag down the skin.
While using anti-depressants may speed up muscle atrophy in the face, please be mindful that using more drugs to plump and paralyze lax facial tissue may not return the look of youth you wishfully desire. Injecting serums over time slowly morphs the user's face in such a way that the skin looks freakish and the store-bought contours are never what Mother Nature intended.
Celebrities are notorious for over inflating their cheeks and certainly their lips. Some of them can get away with using injections for awhile but certainly not forever. The tell-tale signs are apparent up close especially in photographs from the red carpet and in blogs where the face is not touched by photo-shop experts.
Surgery is another avenue that men and women have used to stop their face from sagging. This rather barbaric avenue that offers massive health risks has lots of stars and wannabes looking ridiculously the same as the cookie cutter effect has spread out of Hollywood across the world.
These depressing scenarios must add to depression. Imagine looking in the mirror only to see a sagging face peering back at you. How depressing. And, to think that by using prescription drugs that are supposed to help you feel better actually contribute to the downward slide of muscles.
What is the answer to stopping the root cause, the downward slide of facial muscles? Facial exercise.
Not twists, contortions or scrunches but isometric exercise using resistance with contraction and it's easy to do and something you can use for the rest of your life if you want a firmer, lifted, more toned and tightened face.
Using your thumbs and fingers in white cotton gloves in the privacy of your home you begin to systematically transform your face lifting eyes, cheeks, jowls and more.
Facial exercise produces a glowing face that portrays vibrancy, health and confidence.
So, if you have been prescribed medications that might speed up the look of aging, facial exercise is an all natural at-home remedy that will help you look your best.
